# Anchor Field Type

The plugin comes with a field type for Matrix Block Anchors.

## Create Field

Create a new field and select **Matrix Block Anchor** as the *Field Type*. Name it however suits your project.

Now add the newly created field to your Matrix block entry types. A new tab with the anchor emoji ⚓ for a title works well for keeping it separate from your other fields. Make sure you add the field to every Entry Type you're using in your Matrix field, not just one.
